Review of New Music Tuesday... On Friday!

I know this is a bit late but I definitely need to review some of this past Tuesday's new music that was released.  Two albums that stand out to me are Dirty Money's 'Last Train to Paris' and Ciara's 'Basic Instinct'.
Starting off with 'Last Train to Paris'... This album by far may be the best album of the year.  For me, they came out of left field with this.  With heavy hitters like Rick Ross, Usher, Trey Songz, Lil Wayne and Chris Brown all on this album its no wonder why its on repeat in my iPod!  The sound is definitely a twist from what you ordinarily would hear on the radio these days.  Songs like 'Your Love' featuring Trey Songz has that 90's R&B music feel to it... That real feel good music.  I will have to say that some songs hardly sound like they're featuring an artist and more like its their song (for example: Looking for Love feat. Usher).  Nevertheless, this album is a must have and gets 5 stars on my radio.

On to 'Basic Instinct' from the oh so seductive and talented Ciara.  This album is very easy listening but I can't say it stands out in any way.  While you can listen to it straight through without skipping songs, Ciara seems to be remaining in her comfort zone.  From one song to the next, they are the same ole' songs we can expect from Ciara.  This album isn't bad but its not great so it gets 3 1/2 stars on my radio.
