New Toy: Clarisonic

Yes, I was weak and decided to buy a Clarisonic the other week.  My skin has been gradually becoming more and more beautiful from using the African Black Soap but I wanted something else to expedite the process.  Summer is right around the corner and I want to be able to wear little to no makeup.  Currently, I wear MUFE Mat Velvet which is high coverage and quite thick.  Once summer comes, I want to be able to throw on my moisturizer, a little blush, mascara, gloss/lipstick and step out the door.  Yesterday was the first day I wore no foundation and felt I looked just as beautiful as when I wear my foundation!  It might sound petty but I have a lot of acne scarring on my face and I don't want people staring at that when I'm talking to them so I cover it up with foundation.  Don't act like you've never come across someone with unfortunately bad acne or spots on their face and you couldn't help but direct your attention to that than to what they were talking about.  It happens... Its normal.

After ordering my Clarisonic, I noticed a difference in how soft the skin on my face felt just after the first use.  After about the 3rd or 4th use, I noticed a difference in brightness and how healthy it looked.  In the evening, I use my Clarisonic along with Philosophy's Purity to remove my makeup and give my face a good cleansing.  In the morning, I use my African Black Soap because it restores moisture to my skin that is necessary throughout the day.  I have used the Clarisonic in the evening, as well as the morning before but its not an everyday thing.  I gauge how my skin feels and if it needs it both times of the day.  The more I use the Clarisonic, the less I need to use it any more than 1 time a day.  I can't wait to see the effects after a few weeks if I already starting seeing results after just a few days!  I will keep you guys posted though :-)  Toodles.

  1. I can totally relate when it comes to acne scars. I had a bunch but I've been using the AMBI fade cream for oily skin for about 6 weeks and my scars are almost completely gone. This stuff has worked wonders for me. I would love to try that African black soap. Where did you purchase yours?
